About DRMM

The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) — a non-profit, faith-based corporation — is committed to sharing the gospel of the love of Jesus Christ and providing hope to the hopeless, disadvantaged, abused and homeless men, women and children of our community. By ministering to the total person — body, soul and spirit — DRMM helps them become faithful Christians, discipled into a local church, rehabilitated, employed and living productive lives in restored families.

The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries has been “rebuilding one life at a time” in the inner city since 1909. Thousands of needy and homeless people have been serviced by DRMM, which is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). DRMM is dedicated to meeting the basic needs of humanity, while motivating individuals to rebuild their lives.

  1. I’m really glad you are helping the homeless out and spreading awareness of their situations!! You have done such a tremendous job lately. I have also started my own initiative for helping the homeless, and I’m glad to partake in a similar, noble effort as well!

  2. Very glad I ran across the DRMM website and blog. I am formerly homeless due to unemployment. I am very thankful for the help I received at COTS, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Detroit Action Commonwealth, and Harriet Tubman Center for Organizers. Read my story at http://www.homelessambition.wordpress.com. Keep up the excellent work.
